New molestation charges filed against chiropractor

The charges keep piling up against Robert Matthew Nolan, the 39-year-old former chiropractor accused of inappropriately touching four patients and raping a teenage girl.
Nolan is now charged with molesting that same girl, a relative of his, at his office at Nolan Chiropractic Center along Veterans Parkway in Clarksville.
“It’s a companion case to the one in Floyd County. It involves the same victim,” Clark County Deputy Prosecutor Brittany Blau said.
Nolan was charged in July in Floyd County Superior Court No. 3 with class C felony child molesting, class B felony rape and two counts of class D felony child seduction. Blau said the charges in Floyd County are based on incidents that happened at his home, while the Clark County charges are from incidents that happened at work.
The Clark County Prosecutor’s Office filed charges against Nolan on Tuesday in Superior Court No. 1 for class A felony child molesting, class C felony child molesting, class C felony sexual misconduct with a minor, along with two counts of class D felony sexual misconduct with a minor and two counts of class B felony sexual misconduct with a minor.
He is accused of fondling the girl and having oral sex with her. The different levels of charges are based on the age of the victim at the time of the alleged offenses. The child molesting charges are from 2005, when the alleged victim was 13. Sexual misconduct is the charge when the victim is 14 through 16, while the rape reportedly occurred after the girl turned 17.
The allegations of child abuse came out during an investigation into claims that Nolan was touching his patients in a sexual manner.
For the alleged incidents with patients, Nolan was charged in Clark County Superior Court No. 3 with four counts of class B misdemeanor battery. Four female patients, ages 16 through 36, reported to the Clarksville Police Department that Nolan had touched their private areas or kissed them.
