APPLETON — An Appleton chiropractor who admitted inappropriately touching a patient and taking his pants off during a session with her has been ordered to immediately surrender his license.

While Outagamie County Judge Mark McGinnis Wednesday sentenced Keith J. Oudenhoven to a year of probation under a plea agreement, he said he would not wait for the state Department of Regulation and Licensing to suspend or revoke the chiropractor's license.

He also ordered Oudenhoven to write a letter of apology of at least 100 words to the victim, and send that to state licensing bodies.

Oudenhoven, 51, W5987 Hearthstone Drive, was charged with fourth degree sexual assault but entered a no contest plea to disorderly conduct under the plea agreement. The case had been scheduled for a jury trial.

A 44-year-old woman told police she went to his office for a massage and was greeted by Oudenhoven, who was wearing jeans, a shirt and flip flops.

She said Oudenhoven had her lay face down on the massage table. He then left the room and returned stripped down to a pair of shorts.
