The Clark County prosecutor says more charges are likely against a chiropractor already charged with four misdemeanors related to alleged improper touching of female patients.

On Wednesday, Dr. Robert Matthew Nolan, whose practice is in Clarksville, entered not guilty pleas on four counts of class B misdemeanor battery, newsgathering partner WLKY-TV in Louisville reported.

“We’ve received additional information since the media aired this story a few days ago,” Prosecutor Steve Stewart told WLKY. “We should be filing something new in the next few days.

The station reported that Nolan’s lawyer asked the court for a trial to start as soon as possible on the already filed charges, even requesting a pretrial hearing not be held.

Court records allege that Nolan, 38, allegedly put his hands under the underwear of a 21-year-old woman and brushed against her private area Dec. 5, 2007. A 36-year-old woman from Jeffersonville told The Evening News that Nolan took her into a back room, told her to take off her clothes and then touched her crotch Sept. 26, 2008.

A 16-year-old girl claimed that on April 10, 2008, Nolan was giving her a massage and began kissing her arm and back. She also claims he put his hand down her pants and began rubbing her.

On May 7, a 17-year-old girl said that while she was receiving treatment, Nolan touched her buttocks area and lifted her shirt above her bra line and then later kissed her on the lips.
