Madison (WKOW) -- from WI Dept. of Regulation & Licensing: A Janesville chiropractor agreed Tuesday morning to pay a fine after courts ruled he touched a child in a sexual manner.

William E. Atkinson was ordered to pay $5,000 by the Chiropractic Examining Board and he must also complete remedial education in patient boundaries.

The Rock County Circuit Court ruled that Atkinson had in fact touched a child patient in a sexual manner.

Atkinson denied the charges, but agreed to pay the fine in order to resolve the issue.
